Dholuo language do not have complication in pronunciations because things are pronounced as they are written. Below is how Joluo pronounced things.

Dholuo language has a relatively straightforward pronunciation system, with each letter generally having a consistent sound. However, it's important to remember that the exact pronunciation of certain sounds may vary somewhat based on the speaker's regional accent or individual speech habits.

Here is a general guide on how to pronounce the Dholuo letters, based on the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA):
A a: [a] as in 'father.
B b: [b] as in 'bed'
C c: [tʃ] as in 'church'
D d: [d] as in 'dog'
E e: [e] as in 'pen'
F f: [f] as in 'fish'
G g: [g] as in 'go'
I i: [i] as in 'see'
J j: [dʒ] as in 'job'
K k: [k] as in 'king'
L l: [l] as in 'love'
M m: [m] as in 'mother'
N n: [n] as in 'nose'
Ŋ ŋ: [ŋ] as in 'singing'
O o: [o] as in 'go'
P p: [p] as in 'pen'
R r: [r] as in 'red'
T t: [t] as in 'top'
U u: [u] as in 'you'
W w: [w] as in 'well'
X x: [ʃ] as in 'ship'
Y y: [j] as in 'yes'

Note that Dholuo, like many African languages, is a tonal language, meaning that the pitch contour of a syllable can change the meaning of a word. These tones are generally not marked in writing, which can make the language more challenging to learn from written materials alone.

ŋ is not used now because it is not on many keyboards. We use ng'a for it because it is easy to print it. it is pronounce the same as Ring in English but in Dholuo , a apostrophe is put immediately after letter 'g" . 

Some of Dholuo words being pronounced through vela nasa are:-

Vowel

Dholuo encompasses five vowel qualities—namely, a, e, i, o, u —each capable of being pronounced in both short and long variations.
A pronounced like in words App, apply, Agro, Afro, application, agony etc not like apple, ago, 
E Pronounced like in egg, education, ego etc .
I Pronounced like in it, in, not like nice, despite, like etc.
O Pronounced like in oak, odd etc not like in out.
U Pronounced like in Uganda, ute, full etc not like in luck, duck etc.

The pronunciation patterns for the following groups are as follows: twa is pronounced as tua, twe as tue, and twi as tui. It is worth noting that this last group (twi, tui) is not commonly used. However, these pronunciation alternations are quite prevalent and frequently encountered in Dholuo.

• Mba: Similar to the 're' in "remember."
• Dha: Similar to the 'th' in "that."
• Nda: Similar to the 're' in "render."
• Tha: Similar to the 'th' in "thatch."
• Nga: Similar to the 'ng' in "linger."
• Cha: Similar to the 'ch' in "charge."
• Ng’a: Similar to the 'ng' in "reading" in English.

Letters
In Dholuo,  there is no letter sh and even pronunciation such sh like the word shiver sheet etc are not there. Every word starting with letters sh.. is pronounced as si. Sh does not exist in Dholuo so pronouncing any word be it in English or any other language becomes difficult and is always pronounced as siva for shiver.   pronounced si like in such, touch, preach etc not like k in English e.g. cow, come, cattle, common etc.
